What is a Rosebud?

Rosebuds serve as an Honor Guard of sorts for the Rose Candidates.

They lead the candidates into the Ball for the introductions, lead them into the Ballroom for their on-stage interviews and make a presentation to the candidates.

They also serve a vital role by enabling the judges to observe how well each candidate relates to young children, as the biggest Rose of Tralee fans in Ireland are the young children.

Please fill out The Rosebud Application completely and mail to the address listed with the $50.00 application fee and a current 3X5 photo.

The New York Rose of Tralee Ball will be held on Friday, May 23rd at The Broad Street Ballroom.
The cocktail hour will begin at 6:00pm. Rosebuds will need to be at the venue at 5pm for rehearsal.

The Rosebuds are asked to wear a party dress.
